Start By:a. remove cab
Typical Example1. Turn off the fuel supply to the engine at valve (1) on the bottom of the fuel tank.2. Identify and disconnect fuel lines (2) and (3).
Typical Example3. Identify and disconnect wires (4) and (5).4. Remove bolt (6) and clamp.
Typical Example5. Remove four bolts (7) holding cover (8) and then remove cover (8).
Typical Example6. Remove three bolts holding fender (9) and then remove fender (9).
Typical Example7. Install tooling (A) on the fuel tank and then fasten a hoist.8. Remove three nuts (10) [hidden on the engine side of the firewall].9. Remove four bolts (12) that hold the fuel tank to the frame of the machine.10. Remove fuel tank (11). Weight of fuel tank is 77 Kg (170 lb.). The following steps are for the installation of the fuel tank.
Typical Example11. Install tooling (A) on fuel tank and fasten a hoist. Put the fuel tank (11) in position on the frame of the machine.12. Install four bolts (12) that hold the fuel tank to the frame of the machine.13. Install three nuts (10) [hidden on the engine side of the firewall].
