Information:

1. If the front drum scraper is to be removed, remove horn mounting bracket (3). If the rear drum scraper is to be removed, remove the back-up alarm mounting bracket.2. The weight of the drum scraper is 32 kg (70 lb). Remove four locknuts (1) and the washers that hold drum scraper (2) to the scraper mounting plate. Using two persons, remove the drum scraper. The following steps are for the installation of the drum scraper.
Do not reuse elastic filled locknuts during installation of the drum scraper. The used locknuts should be discarded and replaced with new parts.
3. Put drum scraper (2) in position on the scraper mounting plate. Loosely install the four washers and locknuts (1) that hold the drum scraper in position. Adjust the drum scraper until it just makes contact with the drum assembly. Tighten locknuts (1).4. If the front drum scraper was removed, reinstall horn mounting bracket (3). If the rear drum scraper was removed, reinstall the back-up alarm mounting bracket.
