Remove bolts (7). Remove cover (8). Repeat for opposite side.

(2) Lubricate head with clean grease and tighten to a torque of 600 130 N m (443 96 lb ft). (6) (7) (9) Lubricate seals with the lubricant that is being sealed. (12) Lubricate threads and tighten to a torque of 3000 300 N m (2213 221 lb ft).Installation procedure

Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

Attach a suitable lifting device in order to raise floor cylinder (3) into position. Install pin (12). Install pin lock (14). Install bolts (13) .

Install pin (11) .

Install cover (10). Install bolts (9) .

Remove the suitable lifting device.

Position tube assembly (7) into position. Install bolts (8) .

Connect hose assembly (5) to floor cylinder (3) .

Connect tube assembly (4) to floor cylinder (3) .

Use Tooling (A) in order to install cover (2). The weight of the cover is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Install bolts (1) .
