Make sure that all components of the blade are clean prior to installation of the blade.

Attach Tooling (A) to both ends of the blade. Position suitable lifting slings to Tooling (A). Secure the suitable lifting slings to a hoist. The weight of blade (11) is 641 kg (1413 lb).
Position blade (11) as far as possible into right side bracket (6) of the blade assembly.

Remove Tooling (A) from the left side of blade (11). Extend cylinder (10) to the right until the cylinder reaches the maximum position.
Position a suitable lifting device around cylinder (10) and bracket (3). Retract cylinder (10) in order to pull blade (11) into middle bracket (6) .

Install the rod end of cylinder (10) into bracket (3). Install pin (2) and cotter pin (1) in order to secure the rod end of cylinder (10) to bracket (3). Retract cylinder (10) in order to pull blade (11) into the left bracket.

Install two shims (8) and install wear plate (7) to the original locations, which are between brackets (6) and moldboard rail (9) .
Add shims or remove shims (8) in order to obtain a gap spacing of 0.13 to 0.89 mm (0.005 to 0.035 inch) between moldboard rail (9) and wear plate (7). The position of minimum clearance is found by sideshifting the blade through the full range of travel. The shims (8) should be divided as equally as possible between the top and the bottom wear strips.

Install six cover plates (4) and install eighteen bolts (5) on three mounting brackets (6).
