Installation Procedure
Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. To help prevent possible injury, turn the start switch off when changing fuel filters or water separator elements. Clean up fuel spills immediately.
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Turn the fuel supply to the OFF position.

Cut cable straps (2).
Disconnect harness assembly (3).

Remove shield (5).

Cut cable straps (2).
Remove screw (7) and clamp (6) in order to disconnect harness assembly (3).

Remove O-ring seal (8) and O-ring seals (9) from harness assembly (3). Installation Procedure
Install harness assembly (3) in the reverse order of removal.
Be sure that harness assembly (3) is free of oil and lubricants during the assembly procedure.
