Remove bolts (7) and the washers from the differential case.

Remove differential gear (21). Remove spider gear assembly (22) from the differential case half (23) .

Put an alignment mark on ring gear (26) and differential case half (23). Mark the position of four spring pin holes (25) that are located in the ring gear in order to ensure the correct alignment during the assembly.
Place ring gear (26) and differential case half (23) in a press, as shown. Use the press to separate differential case half (23) from ring gear (26) .

Put an alignment mark on differential case half (23). Remove the four spring pins and clamping pins (27) .

Disassemble spider gear assembly (22). Remove thrust washers (28) and bevel gears (29) from spider (30) .

Remove pinion shaft (31) from the differential housing.
