Engage the TPA retainer to the lock position to secure wires.

Wrap 490-0586 Backshell around 490-0578 Connector Plug As and 554-4889 Wiring Harness.
Press the backshell closed around the connector to secure 554-4889 Wiring Harness.Note: If the backshell is pressed together first, the backshell will be difficult to mate with the connector.

Insert 483-2767 Terminal As to any position between 1 to 9 or 36 to 44 (the outer rows) of 483-2762 Connector Plug As. Refer to Illustration 10 for more information.

Insert 483-2768 Seal Plug into any 4 empty positions of 483-2762 Connector Plug As. Refer to Illustration 11 for more information.

Insert both wires of 554-4891 Wiring Harness from the end labeled "D", into any two side-by-side positions 10-35 (inner 3 rows) of 483-2764 Connector Socket.Note: The terminals are keyed and will only lock into place when oriented correctly.Note: Illustration 12 shows the wires in location 20 and 21.

Engage the TPA retainer to lock position to secure the wires.

Install 483-2769 Connector Cover on 483-2762 Connector Plug As.

Insert 490-0576 Connector Pin of 554-4891 Wiring Harness simultaneously into 490-0582 Receptacle As. Refer to Illustration 16 for more information.Note: The terminals are keyed and will only lock into place when oriented correctly.

Install 490-0586 Backshell on to 490-0582 Receptacle As of the connector along with 554-4891 Wiring Harness.Note: If the backshell is pressed together first, the backshell will be difficult to mate with the connector.

Insert locking wedge in the connector, aligning the removal slot and push to the lock position to engage the lock in the receptacle.
