The on-board software checks for any productivity files that were not sent or for any lost productivity files. If any lost productivity files are found, then the files are sent to the office. The first check for lost productivity files is performed when the on-board software is restarted. Once communication with the office is confirmed, any productivity files that are not included in the transfer queue are added. The on-board software also checks for lost productivity files and sends lost productivity files at 6 hour intervals. The productivity files are considered lost when the following conditions occur:
Productivity files are found in the /temp folder.
Productivity files are not found in the queue of files that are to be transmitted to the office.Productivity files can be sent to the queue for transmission to the office as either of the following:

Productivity information is incremental rather than being cumulative. Other productivity information can be derived from the data that is provided within the productivity file. For example, the changes in volumes for volume productivity records over a range of time are summarized. This action allows the cut and fill rates of the volume to be calculated.Resetting Productivity Records
This feature can be used by the operator to clear all productivity information displayed on the plan view and in the productivity display dialogs. The information that was collected until the productivity is reset is written to the productivity file. No data is lost.Productivity File Diagnostics
Volume records are written at shutdown. These records can be affected by improper shutdowns. The following settings can be used
