I. Inspect the total clearance between the link assembly (Image1.1.2, items 2) and the lift arm frame (Image1.1.2 item 4) on each side of the machine or between the link assembly (Image1.1.2 item 2) and the washer (Image1.1.2 item 5).
2. If the clearance is between 0.5 to 2.5mm per side, no shimming is needed to be added. Remove the bolt (Image1.1.2, items 6) and apply a bead of threadlock material (like Loctite Blue 242) on the bolt thread before reinstalling the bolt on the pin assembly. Tighten the bolt to a specified torque of 55 N.m. Claim as a Before Failure repair type (PD Code 56).
3. If the clearance is outside of the specified range on either side, remove 119-4594 Washers (Image1.1.2 items 1) as needed, in order to achieve clearance of 0.5 to 2.5mm. Apply a bead of threadlock material (like Loctite Blue 243) on the bolt threads before reinstalling the bolt (Image1.1.2, items 6) on the pin assembly. Tighten the bolt to a specified torque of 55 N.m. Claim as an After Failure repair type (PD Code 96).
