F - Loctite High Flex GM - Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

Install O-ring seal (12) to trunnion (11). Lubricate the O-ring seal with Tooling (C).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to trunnion (11). The weight of the trunnion is approximately 61 kg (135 lb). Install trunnion (11).

Apply Tooling (D) and then apply Tooling (E) to the threads of bolts (10) prior to installation.
Install 16 bolts (10) and the washers. Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of 470 50 N m (350 37 lb ft).

Position rear trunnion support (2) in a suitable press. Ensure that the cover side is facing upward.
Use Tooling (B) to install sleeve bearing (9) to the rear trunnion support. Make sure that the sleeve bearing is seated against the shoulder of the rear trunnion support.
Install O-ring seal (8).
Lubricate the O-ring seal and the sleeve bearing with Tooling (C).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to rear trunnion support (2). The weight of the rear trunnion support is approximately 129 kg (285 lb). Install rear trunnion support (2).

Install thrust bearing (7).

Install plate (5) and thrust bearing (6).
Apply Tooling (D) and then apply Tooling (E) to the threads of bolts (4) prior to installation.
Install 12 bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 270 25 N m (200 18 lb ft).

Apply Tooling (F) to the mating surfaces of rear trunnion support (2) and of cover (3). Install cover (3). Note: Make sure that the relief fitting is positioned at the top of the rear trunnion support.
Apply Tooling (D) and then apply Tooling (E) to the threads of bolts (1) prior to installation.
Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 270 25 N m (200 18 lb ft). End By:
Install the rear axle. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oscillating Axle (Rear) - Install".
