Assembly Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "General Information (Reference Material)" for more information.
Clean all parts. Replace all parts that are damaged.

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Apply clean engine oil to all parts of the valve before assembly.
Install piston (6) in body (5). Install the piston with the shorter end of the piston toward the inside of the body. The piston must move freely inside the body.
Install spring (7) and piston (2) in piston (6). Piston (2) must move freely in piston (6) .
Install piston (8) and spring (9) in body (5) .
Install O-ring seal (1) in body (5) .Note: Ensure that spring (9) fits into the counterbore in cover (3) when the cover is installed.
Place cover (3) in position on body (5). Install bolts (4) .End By: Install the priority valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Priority Valve - Install".
