Disassemble And Assemble Priority Valve (Power Shift Earlier Models Only)
START BY:a) remove transmission oil filter and priority valve 1. Remove two O-ring seals (1). Remove two bolts (3) and lockwashers. Remove cover (2) and O-ring seal. 2. Remove pin (6), spring (5) and valve spool assembly (4). 3. Remove slug (7) and shims (10) from valve spool (4). Remove retainer ring (11) with tool (A). Remove retainer (8), spring (12) and plunger (9). 4. Remove four O-ring seals (13). Remove plug (14) and O-ring seal. 5. Remove spring (16) and valve spool (15).6. Install spring (16) and valve spool (15) in the valve body.7. Install O-ring seal on plug (14) and install the plug in the valve body. Install four O-ring seals (13) on the valve body.8. Install plunger (9), spring (12) and retainer (8) in valve spool (4). Install retainer ring (11) with tool (A). Install slug (7). Install shims (10).9. Install valve spool assembly (4), spring (5) and pin (6).10. Install O-ring seal on the cover. Install cover (2) with two bolts and lockwashers. Install two O-ring seals (1).
