1. Remove bolt (1). Remove the vee belts from the pulley.2. Remove bolt (3) and nut that hold the belt tightener in position. Remove belt tightener (2). 3. Remove three bolts (5) and bracket (4).Install Belt Tightener (Scraper Engine)
1. Install bracket (1) and the three bolts that hold it. 2. Put the belt tightener (2) in position on bracket (2) Install the bolt and nut that holds it.3. Put the vee belts in position in the pulley and install the adjustment bolts.4. Make an adjustment to the vee belts. start by: a) remove belt tightener (scraper engine) 1. Remove four bolts (2) and cover (1). 2. Remove bolt (5), lockwasher and washer (3). Remove pulley (4) from the bracket assembly. 3. Remove bearing (6) from the pulley.4. Remove the spacer and ring from the pulley.5. Turn the pulley over. Remove seal (7) and bearing (8) from the pulley.Assemble Belt Tightener (Scraper Engine)
1. Install the lip type seal in the pulley with tool (A). Install the seal until it is even with the outside surface of the pulley and with the lip of the seal toward the outside of the pulley. 2. Turn the pulley over. Install the bearing, spacer (2), ring (3) and bearing (1) in the pulley. 3. Put pulley (4) in position on the bracket assembly. Install washer (6), lockwasher and bolt (7) that hold the pulley in position.4. Install cover (5) and the four bolts that hold it.end by: a) install belt tightener (scraper engine)
