AEC - The AEC functions automatically in order to reduce the engine speed, while there is no hydraulic demand. The AEC reduces fuel consumption and noise.To disable the AEC, push down the front of the switch. With the switch in this position, the engine speed will remain constant regardless of hydraulic demand.To enable the AEC, push down the rear of the switch. Within ten seconds, the engine speed will be near low idle.Upon activation of a hydraulic circuit, the engine speed will return to the engine speed that is set by the engine speed dial.Note: When the travel pedal is fully depressed, the AEC is automatically disabled.
