Operating Modes
The Operating Mode that is configured determines the look of the Display. The Operating Mode also affects the operation of the buttons and switches on the Display. There are two Operating Modes.
Reference Elevation
Cut/FillRefer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Configuration" in order to set the Operating Mode.Reference Elevation Mode
The following items describe the operation of the AccuGrade - Laser System in Reference Elevation Mode:
The Display shows the reference elevation that is being worked toward.
Toggle either the right or the left "Mast Elevation" switch in order to apply an offset to the reference elevation.
Press the "Escape" (left reset/left bench) button in order to start a search for the laser beam. The search for the laser beam stops when the laser receiver is on-grade.Note: The "OK"(right reset/right bench) button does not work in the single receiver system.
The "Elevation Select " switch does not work in the single mast system.

The following items describe the operation of the AccuGrade - Laser System in Cut/Fill Mode:
The Display shows the cut/fill required to reach the mast's reference elevation. A positive value means cut and a negative value means fill.
Both "Menu scroll" switches are disabled.
The Escape (left reset/ left bench) button is disabled.
The remote offset switch is disabled.
The "Elevation Select" switch does not work in the single mast system.
