GUARD AS 9Y6639 - Caterpillar

1. Remove bolt, retainer (2) and pin (1) from rod end of the cylinder group. 2. Disconnect oil lines (3) from the lift cylinder. Install caps on cylinder and plugs in oil lines. 3. Fasten a hoist to the cylinder group and remove bolt (4) and washer (5). Remove lift cylinder (6). The cylinder weight is 80 lb. (36 kg).Install Bulldozer Lift Cylinders
1. Put 1P808 General Purpose Lubricant in the cylinder pin bores. 2. Install a hoist on the bulldozer lift cylinder (1) and put it in position on the machine. 3. Install pin (2), retainer (3) and bolt in the bulldozer frame. 4. Install washer (5) and bolt (4) on the head end of the cylinder. Remove caps from cylinder and plugs from hose assemblies. 5. Install hose assemblies (6) on cylinder.
