Shutoff Valve Installation Procedure
1. Drain both water tanks.2. Remove existing tee (6) and valve (7).

Secure the shutoff and drain valve assembly with cable straps (5) as required.5. Refill the water tanks with clean water.6. Perform the adjustment procedure for recirculation flow in this article. The normal operating position of valve (4) is CLOSED (lever perpendicular to valve). With valve (4) CLOSED, the front and rear water systems are separated.Adjustment Procedure for Recirculation Flow
1. Place shutoff valve (4) in the CLOSED position (lever perpendicular to valve).2. Place the water spray switch on the left operator's console in the CONTINUOUS SPRAY position.3. Locate recirculation valve (H). There is one recirculation valve located next to each water pump (areas A and B).

Ensure that water supply valve (L) is open (as shown in Illustration 3).5. Place the lever on recirculation valve (H) at approximately 45 degrees as shown.6. Check the spray pattern from the nozzles on the drum. The spray from each nozzle should overlap the spray of the nozzles on each side.7. To increase the flow of water to the nozzles, move the lever on recirculation valve (H) closer to the CLOSED position. To decrease the flow of water to the nozzles, move the lever on the recirculation valve closer to the OPEN position. The pump should not operate for extended periods with the recirculation valve closed or pump life may be shortened. If the water spray from the nozzle pulses rapidly, the water system pressure is too high. Move the lever on the recirculation valve closer to the OPEN position to reduce the water pressure. If a water pump malfunctions, it is possible to provide pressurized water to both drums from one water pump. To set up the system for one pump operation, open valve (4) and close the recirculation valve (H) for the pump that is not operating.
