Start By:
Remove the bucket.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Position the machine so the stick is facing the rear of the machine.

Drain the final drives into a suitable container for storage or for disposal.
Remove rings (1) and covers (2) from both final drives.

Remove sun gear (3) from both final drives.

Install covers (2) and rings (1). Refill the final drives.

Fully extend the stick cylinder. Position the stick on Tooling (A). Remove the boom cylinder and install Tooling (B).
Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Install Tooling (C) onto the hydraulic tank. Attach an air supply hose onto Tooling (C). Apply 138 kPa (20 psi) of air. This procedure will pull a vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Disconnect hose assemblies (4) from swivel (6). Remove fittings (5).

Position Tooling (E) and Tooling (D) as shown in Illustration 6. Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1303 , "Lift Group (Stand - 25 Ton)" for more information on Tooling (E).

Remove 21 bolts (7). Leave one bolt on each side of the swing gear and bearing housing.

Install Tooling (F) in the front of the machine and the back of the machine.
Mark the mating parts for installation purposes.
Remove remaining bolts (7).
Use Tooling (A) and Tooling (E) to raise the machine from front to back to keep the machine level. Rise the machine until the machine clears undercarriage (8). Tooling (A) and Tooling (E) are not shown.
The weight of the house is approximately 2313 kg (5100 lb).

Use a suitable towing device to pull undercarriage (8) forward and remove the undercarriage.
