Clean the surface. The surface must be free of the following foreign material: oxidation, oil, grease, dirt and slag.
Preheat the area to a minimum temperature of 177 °C (350 °F).Note: The minimum interpass temperature is 177 °C (350 °F).
Weld 8X-0750 Bracket (1) to lift arms. Use Illustration 2, Illustration3and Table 3.Note: Do not start the passes of the welds between points "G" and "H".Note: Do not stop the passes of the welds between points "G" and "H".Note: Do not weld within 6 mm (0.2 inch) of the hole in the plate.Machining Dimensions
