Turn over the carrier assembly. Remove retaining ring (91) from planetary carrier (84).

Install the planetary carrier to a hydraulic press, as shown. Remove gear (86) from planetary carrier (84).

Remove two seals (92) from gear (86). Use Tooling (G) to remove retaining ring (93) from gear (86).

Use Tooling (G) to remove retaining ring (94) from gear (86). Remove roller bearing (95) from gear (86).

Use a hammer and a punch to remove pin (96) from shaft (97). Remove shaft (97) from gear (98). Remove gear (98) from planetary carrier (84). Repeat the procedure for the other seven gears.

Remove two washers (99) and two roller bearings (100) from gear (98). Repeat the procedure for the other seven gears.

Remove ring gear (101) from the planetary assembly.

Remove planetary carrier (102) from the planetary assembly.

Use a hammer and a punch to remove pin (103) from shaft (104). Remove shaft (104) from gear (105). Remove gear (105) from planetary carrier (102). Repeat the procedure for the other two gears.

Remove two washers (106) and roller bearing (107) from gear (105). Repeat the procedure for the other two gears.

Remove gear (108) from shaft (82). Remove shaft (82) from the planetary cover.

Remove three seals (109) from shaft assembly (82).

Use two persons to place the cover in an upright position. Place the cover on suitable cribbing. The cover weighs 40 kg (88 lb). Remove five bolts (110) from cover (111). Remove the O-ring seal and cover (111) from the planetary cover.

Use Tooling (E) and a hammer to remove roller bearing (113) from the planetary cover.
