Start By:a. remove ripper lift cylindersb. remove ripper carriage assembly 1. Remove clamps (1) and (2) that holds ripper pin puller hose assemblies to ripper frame assembly (3). 2. Remove clamp (4) that holds ripper pin puller hose assemblies to the transmission guard (5) and reposition out of the way. 3. Attach Tooling (D) to ripper frame assembly (3) and connect to hoist. Remove stands from under ripper frame assembly (3) and lower ripper frame assembly (3) to the ground. 4. Attach Tooling (E) to transmission guard (5). Remove twelve bolts and washers (6) and remove transmission guard (5) from the machine. The weight of the transmission guard is 545 kg (1200 lb). 5. Attach hoist to Tooling (D) and raise frame assembly (3) off ground and position Tooling (A) under ripper frame assembly (3) as shown. Lower ripper frame assembly (3) onto Tooling (A) while keeping tension on Tooling (D). 6. Remove two bolts (7) and plate (8) that holds pin (9) to ripper frame assembly (3). 7. Attach Tooling (B) to pin (9) and remove pin (9) and the shims (not shown). Remove pin located on other side of ripper frame assembly (3) and remove ripper frame assembly (3) from machine. The weight of pin (9) is 39 kg (85 lb)and the weight of the ripper frame assembly is 2870 kg (6320 lb). Install in the reverse order.8.
