Information:
1. Drain the hydraulic oil tank into a suitable container.2. Remove two bolts and washers. Open left access panel door.3. Drain the radiator coolant into a suitable container. 4. Remove four bolts (2) and washers.5. Remove three bolts (1) and washers.
The radiator hood assembly cover has many pinch points during the installation and removal procedures. Use proper care to avoid personal injury.
6. Attach Tool (A) to two bolt holes (1) called out in Photo C52335P1. Support radiator hood assembly cover (5) with a suitable hoist.7. Remove radiator hood assembly cover (5). The weight of the radiator hood assembly cover is 62 kg (130 lb).8. Remove ten bolts (3) and washers.9. Remove panel (4). 10. Remove two bolts (7) and washers. Reposition the air conditioning condenser within the engine compartment to allow radiator removal.
The refrigerant has NOT been evaluated from the air conditioning system, be very careful or personal injury could occur.
11. Disconnect hydraulic line (8). Cap or plug immediately.12. Disconnect hydraulic line (6). Cap or plug immediately. 13. Disconnect upper radiator hose (9).14. Disconnect turbocharger coolant line (10). Disconnect the overflow hose (not shown).15. Remove lower engine cover to gain access to the lower radiator hose. Disconnect lower radiator hose (11) (not shown).16. Remove four bolts (16).17. Loosen two hose clamps (12).18. Loosen two hose clamps (13).19. Loosen two hose clamps (15).20. Loosen two hose clamps (18).21. Remove inner cooler tube assembly (14).22. Remove inner cooler tube assembly (17). 23. Loosen two bolts (22).24. Loosen ten bolts (24).25. Remove two bolts (22) and washers.26. Remove six bolts (24) and washers to remove upper fan guard (20).27. Remove four bolts (24) and washers to remove lower fan guard (23).28. Remove six bolts (21) (not shown) and washers.29. Remove fan (19) from the fan drive. Position fan (19) in fan shroud. Wire fan securely to radiator assembly for removal with the radiator assembly. 30. Remove two bolts (25) and washers.31. Remove support (26).32. Repeat Steps 30 and 31 on the opposite side of the radiator.
View from bottom of machine33. Support the radiator assembly with a suitable lifting device.34. Remove four bolts (27) and washers.35. Remove the radiator assembly.
The air conditioner condenser has NOT been removed and is still charged with refrigerant. Be careful not to damage the air conditioner condenser or personal injury could occur.
Be sure that the ether starting aid line is not damaged during the radiator assembly removal.
For installation of the radiator, oil cooler and inner cooler as a unit, reverse the removal steps.36. Fill the radiator to the correct level with coolant.37. Fill the hydraulic tank to the correct level with hydraulic oil.
