1. Loosen two clamps (2).2. Disconnect hose (3) from turbocharger (1). 3. Disconnect lubricating oil pipe (5).4. Loosen two clamps (6).5. Disconnect drain pipe (4). 6. Remove three bolts (8).7. Remove pipe (7) and gasket. Check for wear or damage. Replace if necessary.8. Loosen hose clamp (9).9. Disconnect hose (10).10. Remove eight nuts (12). The four studs are double nutted for a total of eight nuts.11. Remove turbocharger (1), oil pipe (5) and drain pipe (4) as a unit.12. Remove metal gasket (11) (not shown). Check for wear or damage. Replace if necessary. For installation of the turbocharger, reverse the removal steps.End By:a. install mufflerDisassemble & Assemble Turbocharger
Start By:a. remove turbocharger Note and identify orientation of the housings before beginning disassembly procedure. 1. Remove three bolts (1).2. Remove two lines (2). 3. Remove two gaskets (3). Inspect for wear or damage. Replace if necessary. 4. Remove one bolt (4) and nut. Remove clamp (5).5. Separate the turbocharger, housing (8) from housing (9). 6. Remove snap ring (6) with tool (A).7. Remove turbocharger assembly (7) from housing (8).
(4) Bolt And Nut. (5) Clamp. (6) Snap Ring. (7) Turbocharger Assembly. (8) Housing. (9) Housing. Gaskets (3) and Lines (1) (2) are not shown in photo C50490P1. For assembly of the turbocharger, reverse the disassembly steps.End By:a. install turbocharger
