(22) Evacuation Port for Hoist/Brake Oil
(23) Sample Port for Steering Oil
(24) Fill and Evacuation Port for Brake Oil
(25) Sample Port for Transmission/Torque Converter Oil
(26) Evacuation Port for Transmission Oil
(27) Sample Port for Engine Oil
(28) Fill and Evacuation Port for Engine CoolantNote: Do not fill the fluids through evacuation only ports.Note: Use evacuation hoses that are suitable for the oil temperature and pressure. Failure to do so may cause the hose to collapse resulting in a reduced level of performance. (29) Sample Switch - Move the three-position sample switch to the UP position to activate the sample valves for the hoist and brake system and the steering system. The switch will automatically return to the MIDDLE OFF position. Move the switch to the DOWN position to lock the sample switch. (30) Sample Indicator Light - The sample indicator light will illuminate when a sample can be taken.Keypad
Illustration 3 g06198338Note: Fluid level additional monitoring system installation status must be set to INSTALLED in CAT ET in order for the keypad to function. When the engine start switch is moved to the ON position, all LED indicators on the keypad will flash briefly.Note: The engine start switch does not need to be ON to supply power to the keypad
(31) Full - The upper indicator, the middle indicator, and the lower indicator will illuminate continuously when the corresponding fluid is at full level. When these indicators illuminate, stop the flow of fluid to the corresponding fast fill port.
(32) Normal - The middle indicator and the lower indicators will illuminate continuously when the corresponding fluid is at or above normal operating level.
(33) Add - The lower indicator will flash when the corresponding fluid is below normal operating level. When this indicator flashes, add the proper fluid for the corresponding system. (34) Test Buttons - To test the indicators, push, and hold test button (18) for the desired system. While the button is depressed, the indicator for the corresponding system will flash once and then illuminate continuously if the indicators are working properly. Test the indicators before filling any system with the corresponding fast fill port.

Live samples can be taken for the engine coolant, engine oil, and transmission oil at any time when the engine is running.Use the following procedure to obtain samples for the hoist and brake system, and the steering system:
Move Sample Switch (29) to the UP position to activate the sample valve, and then release the switch. The switch will automatically return to the MIDDLE OFF position.
Wait 60 seconds for the lines to purge. Sample Indicator Light (30) will illuminate when the sample can be taken.
Obtain the sample.
Move Sample Switch (29) to the DOWN position to lock the sample switch.
