Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the heating and air conditioning unit. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heating and Air Conditioning Unit - Remove" in this manual.

Illustration 2 g00515726Note: Put identification marks on electrical connectors (3) for installation purposes.
Remove wire tie-wrap (4). Disconnect two electrical connectors (3) from the two damper motor assemblies.
Remove six bolts (2) and the washers.
Remove case assembly (1).

Remove the hose clamp in order to remove hose (7).
Remove five bolts (6) and the washers.
Reposition case assembly (5) off the heater core and the evaporator coil.

Remove screws (9). Reposition water valve (8).

Remove bolts (11).
Remove heater core (10).
