2. Disconnect harness-1 and harness-2 from each joystick of remote control valves.

Disconnect DT connector (6P) of harness-1 of each joystick to the console harness.
Disconnect the bullet terminals of harness-2 of the right joystick to the console harness wires (NO.320: red) and (NO.200: black).
Disconnect the bullet terminals of harness-2 of the left joystick to the console harness wires (NO.972: blue) and (NO.235: black).

3. Remove the 113-2532 Pin and remove the joystick grip.

4.Install each new joystick grip and install the 113-2532 Pin to hold the grip in position. Installation procedure is reverse of the removal procedure, described above.
5.After installing the new joystick, perform calibration of the joystick thumbwheel. There are two methods for calibration: calibration with the monitor or calibration with Caterpillar Electronic Technician. Refer to the service manual "Tool Control System - Testing and Adjusting Section".
