Note: For lifting objects, use properly rated cables and properly rated slings. Position the lifting device in order to keep the pallet fork level.

Use two lifting straps that are equal in length.
Place one lifting strap around the tube of the carriage near one end.
Place the other lifting strap around the tube of the carriage near the other end.
Install the loops that are on the ends of each of the lifting straps onto a hoist. Use the hoist to lift the pallet fork. Note: Use care when you lift the pallet fork. When you lift the pallet fork, the fork tines may rotate.Tying Down the Pallet Fork
Do not tie the pallet fork down using the pin bores since this can damage pin bores.
