Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: Check all gaskets and O-rings for wear or damage. Replace these components, if necessary.
Drain the water from the system.

Remove four bolts (1).
Remove the bolt (3) and the retainer. Remove the two clips (2).
Remove the elbow (4).
Remove the tube (5).

Remove ten bolts (6).
Remove the elbow (7) and the gasket.

Remove the bolt or the bolts (9). Remove the retainers.
Remove the tube (8).
Remove ten bolts (10).
Remove the elbow (11) and the gasket. Installation Procedure

Note: Lubricate all the seals with glycerin before installation.

Replace the elbow (11) and the gasket.
Replace ten bolts (10).
Replace the tube (8).
Replace the bolt or the bolts (9). Replace the retainers.

Replace the elbow (7) and the gasket.
Replace ten bolts (6).

Replace the tube (5).
Replace the elbow (4).
Replace the bolt (3) and the retainer. Replace the two clips (2).
Replace four bolts (1).
Fill the water system to the correct level. Check the Operation And Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.
