Remove nut (1) and washer (2) that fastens gear (3) on the water pump.

Use Tooling (A) to remove gear (3) from the water pump.

Remove key (4) from the shaft.

Remove bolts (5) that fasten adapter (6) to housing (7) .

Remove cover (8) from body (9) .

Remove O-ring seal (10) and impeller assembly (11) from body (9) .

Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.Spring force will be released when covers are removed.Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.
Remove plate (12) . Use Tooling (C) to remove retaining ring (13) . Remove washer (14) and the spring.

Remove bolts (15) and separate body (9) from housing (7) .Note: Be careful not to damage the seal assembly when you separate housing (7) from body (9) .

Remove the ceramic part of seal assembly (16) .

Remove O-ring seal (17) . Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (19) from the housing.
Remove shaft assembly (18) from the housing.

Use a suitable press to remove bearing (20) from drive shaft (21) .

Use Tooling (D) to remove bearing (22) from the housing.

Remove O-ring seal (23) and lip seal (24) from the housing.
