Rear right view (1) Use the following procedure in order to install the position sensor:
The magnetic pulse pickup which has been already assembled should be replaced with the kit for the pulse pickup.
Hand tighten the position sensor to full engagement.
Unscrew the position sensor to 1/8 of a turn and then secure the position sensor.

Right side view (2) Torque for two bolts ... 40 8 N m (30 6 lb ft) (3) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of three pipe fittings with brush. (4) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of the plug with brush. (5) Apply 4C-9502 Gasket Sealant to the threads of the pipe with brush.
