Removal Procedure
Note: Put identification marks on the wires for installation purposes.
Deactivate the electrical system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery Disconnect Switch" in order to deactivate the electrical system.
Remove the serpentine belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt- Remove and Install".

Remove clamps (1) on elbow (2). Remove elbow (2) .

Remove wires (3) and (4) from alternator (6). Remove bolts (5) that secure guards (7) for the alternator and for the compressor. Remove guard (7) .

Remove bolts and nuts (10) that secure alternator (6). Remove alternator (6) .Installation Procedure

Install alternator (6) by using two bolts and nuts (10) .

Install clamps (1) on elbow (2) .

Install two wires (3) and (4) from alternator (6). Install bolts (5) that secure guards (7) for the alternator and the compressor and install guard (7) .
