1. Remove the access sheet assemblies from under the engine.
View From Under Engine2. Use tool (A) to remove engine oil filter (4).3. Disconnect two hose assemblies (1) from the oil filter base.4. Remove bolts (2), bolts (3) and the washers that hold oil filter base (5) in position. Remove the oil filter base. 5. Disconnect tube assembly (7) from oil filter base assembly (8).6. Disconnect the other end of hose assemblies (1) from the oil filter base assembly.7. Disconnect tube assembly (9) from the oil filter base assembly.8. Remove bolts (6), the washers and oil filter base assembly (8).9. Remove the two covers, springs and plungers from the oil filter base assembly.10. Remove the sample valve from the oil filter base assembly. The following steps are for the installation of the engine oil filter and the oil filter base.11. Reinstall the sample valve and the two plungers and springs in the oil filter base assembly. Install the two covers over the plunger assemblies.12. Put oil filter base assembly (8) in position on the engine, and install bolts (6) and the washers which hold it.13. Connect tube assembly (9) to the oil filter base assembly.14. Connect hose assembly (1) to the oil filter base assembly.15. Connect tube assembly (7) to the oil filter base assembly.16. Put oil filter base (5) in position, and install bolts (2), bolts (3) and the washers which hold it.17. Connect the other end of hose assemblies (1) to the oil filter base.18. Install a new engine oil filter (4). For further information regarding servicing of the engine oil filter, see the Operation & Maintenance Manual.19. Reinstall the access sheet assembly under the engine.
