Remove seal (3) and O-ring seal (4) from cover (2) .

Remove belleville washer (5) .

Remove bolts (6). Use two people and remove adapter plate (7). The weight of adapter plate (7) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

Note: Some adapter plates may not have O-ring seal (8) .
Remove O-ring seal (8) from adapter plate (7), if equipped.

Remove seal (9) .
Use Tooling (A) and remove retaining ring (10) .
Use Tooling (B) and remove retaining ring (11) .
Remove O-ring seal (12) .

Remove shaft assembly (13) .Note: Tap shaft assembly (13) with a rubber mallet on the opposite side of the piston motor.

Remove O-ring seal (14) from shaft assembly (13) .
Remove shims (15) .
Remove O-ring seal (16) from shaft assembly (13) .

Use a suitable press and remove bearing (17) and brake piston (18) from shaft (19) .

Remove brake discs (20) .

Put identification marks on the piston motor.

Remove screws (22) and ring gear (23) .

Remove O-ring seal (24) from ring gear (23) .

Remove bolts (26) and distribution block (25) .
