Installation Procedure for NRS Cooler Lines and Related Components
Drain the engine coolant to a level that is below the thermostat housing.
Remove the old NRS cooler vent line and turbocharger coolant line.
Remove the fittings that are installed in the thermostat housing.

Proper orientation of elbow (A) 50 degrees 3 degrees
Install o-ring seal (6) onto connector (5). Install connector into the thermostat housing. the fittings into the thermostat housing. Orient fitting
Install o-ring seals (4) onto tee (3). Install tee (3) onto connector (6). Refer to Illustration 1 for orientation of tee (3 ) .
Install o-ring seal (2) onto elbow (1). Install elbow into tee (3). Refer to Illustration 2 for correct orientation of the elbow.

Install mounting plate (13) to the cylinder head behind the NRS bellows using the stud that is already located in the cylinder head with washer (8) and nut (9). Refer to Illustration 3.

Install union tee (10) through plate (13). Install nut (12) onto the union tee. Install o-ring seals (11) onto the union tee.

Install seal (14) and o-ring seal (15) onto elbow (13). Install elbow (13) into the NRS cooler with the elbow pointing at the mounting bracket that is previously installed.
Install the water tube assembly (16), water hose (17),hose, and tube (18) .

Install plug () with o-ring () into the original port of the thermostat housing.Venting the Cooling System
Note: The engine cooling system must be properly vented after coolant is drained and refilled, or severe engine damage and/or damage to the NRS cooler will occur.
Remove the radiator cap.
Refill the cooling system with the coolant that was previously drained.
Start the engine. Run the engine until the water temperature regulator opens and the coolant level stabilizes.Note: Do not install the radiator cap while the engine is running.
Install the radiator cap.
