Place gear (19) Install the retaining ring.

Use Tooling (G) and a suitable press to install all bearings (18) in gears (17).Note: Raise the temperature on all the gears and lower the temperature on the carrier before the installation procedure.

Attach Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device to install the carrier. The weight of the carrier (15) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb).

Place thrust plate (12) and plate (13) in position on carrier (8).

Use Tooling (G) and a suitable press to install bearings (11) in the gears.Note: Raise the temperature on all the gears and lower the temperature on the carrier before the installation procedure.

Place gear (10) in position on carrier (8). Install the other gears on the carrier.

Use Tooling (E) to install retaining rings (9) on the gears.

Attach Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device to install carrier (8) and the gears. The weight of carrier (8) and the gears is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).

Place gear (7) in position on the carrier.

Install O-ring seal (6) to gear (2). Install thrust bearing (5).

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to install gear (2) on gear (4). The weight of gear (2) is approximately 73 kg (160 lb).

Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to bolts (3). Install bolts (3) to secure gear (2) to the other gear. Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 100 20 N m (73.8 14.8 lb ft).
Install the O-ring seals to plugs (1). Install the plugs in the gear.End By:
