This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1315" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1315" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the October 23, 1996 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Problem, Parts Needed, and the Action Required.
Problem
The 6V2156 Link Brackets on the front pump drive group may crack on certain 994 Wheel Loaders. The 6V2156 Link Brackets need to be removed and new 1387573 Link Brackets installed in the front pump drive group.

The 6V2156 Link Brackets are located on the top face of the 8X0086 front pump drive group and is retained by a 8T4195 Bolt and a 8T4121 Washer. Remove the 8T4195 Bolts, 8T4121 Washers and the old 6V2156 Link Brackets. Install new 1387573 Link Brackets using the existing 8T4121 Washers and 8T4195 Bolts. Render the 6V2156 Link Brackets useless before scrapping. See Illustration 1.
