Which Generate This Code:This diagnostic code is detected when the swing pump pressure is greater than normal and there are no commands to the machine hydraulic system. The diagnostic code is usually caused by a failed solenoid or a solenoid energizer circuit that is shorted to the +battery in the machine harness. This diagnostic code will cause the machine ECM to disable the swing hydraulic system. Test Step 1. CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC CODES THAT ARE RELATED TO SOLENOIDS.

If the Swing Hydraulic Valve is functioning correctly, the ECM had failed. It is unlikely that an ECM has failed. Exit this procedure and perform this CID 1191 FMI 07 procedure again. Repair: If the failure is not found, replace the ECM. See Testing And Adjusting, "Electronic Control Module (ECM) - Replace". Stop.
