Remove the existing vibratory pump. Remove the two -12 high pressure lines that are connected to the vibratory cooling valve.
Install the 7E-8945 Accessory Drive Group in the 123-5264 Hydraulic Pump. Install the pump that contains the new 125-3463 Support .
Install the two new 125-3462 Hose As (3) .
Install a 6V-7420 Straight Thread Adapter (4). Install a 8T-1686 Elbow (5). Install a 8C-8989 Elbow (6). The adapter and the two elbows should be installed at the top of the vibratory pump. Connect the existing vibratory case drain hose.
Install a 6V-9002 Elbow (7) to the bottom of the vibratory pump. Assemble the existing charge supply line (1) and assemble the tee fitting to the elbow.
Connect the connector for the existing wire harness from the vibratory amplitude shift valve.
Adjust the settings for the charge pressure. Procedure For The Adjustment Of Charge Pressure On The 123-5264 Hydraulic Pump
Disconnect the -12 hose that connects the vibratory cooling valve to the return manifold that is located on the hydraulic tank. Plug the hose. Cap the fitting on the cooling valve.Note: If the propel cooling valve shuttle or the cooling valve shuttle has moved, the charge pressure that is observed at the brake valve and at the speed shift valve can be controlled by the cooling relief valve in the vibration cooling valve. The cooling relief valve has no effect on the pump charge relief setting for the three pumps if you plug the hose. Note: The vibratory pump charge relief valve has been removed and replaced with a fixed orifice plug (2). The plug allows approximately 1.5 gpm of case drain flow at all times to flush the case of the pump. The plug allows approximately 1.5 gpm of case drain flow at all times to flush the case of the motor.
Assemble a 0-4000 kPa gauge to the charge pressure test port. The pressure test port is located on the parking brake and the speed shift valve.
Install a 1U-6602 Photo-Tachometer in order to measure the rpm of the engine.
Engage the parking brake. Put the propel lever in NEUTRAL. Install a 4C-6500 Digital Thermometer in the hydraulic tank. Operate the engine at high idle until the oil temperature has reached 38 °C (100 °F).
Shut the engine off.
Turn the charge relief valves for the drum and for the axle propel pump to the maximum inward. Reverse the charge relief valve for the axle propel pump outward. 4 or 5 turns.
Start the engine. Operate the engine at half throttle or at approximately 1175 rpm. Adjust the charge relief valve for the propel
