2. Remove the two bolts, and disconnect clips (3) and (4) from the tilt cylinder.3. Remove the nut, and disconnect clips from the loader frame.4. Disconnect grease line (2) from fitting (1).5. Remove fitting (1) from the pin.6. Remove two bolts (5), and disconnect bucket positioner (6) from the tilt cylinder. 7. Remove four bolts (8), and disconnect tube assembly (7) from the tilt cylinder. 8. Remove four bolts (9), and disconnect hose assembly (10) from the cylinder.9. Remove two bolts (12), and disconnect bracket (11) from the cylinder. 10. Fasten a nylon strap and a hoist to tilt cylinder (13) as shown. 11. Loosen two setscrews (17), and remove magnet assembly (16) from the pin.12. Remove bolt (15), washer and spacer that hold pin (14). 13. Use tooling (A), and remove pin (14) that connects the tilt cylinder to the tilt lever. 14. Remove grease fitting (18) from pin (19).15. Remove bolt (20), washer and spacer that hold pin (19). 16. Use tooling (B), and remove pin (19) that connects the tilt cylinder to the loader frame.17. Remove tilt cylinder (13) from the machine. The weight of the tilt cylinder is 130 kg (287 lb.).Install Tilt Cylinder
1. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Type Grease in all of the pin bores. 2. Fasten a nylon strap and a hoist to tilt cylinder (1). Put the cylinder in position on the machine.
Do not damage the seals when the pins are installed.
3. Put pin (2) in position in the rear bore as shown. 4. Install spacer (4), washer and bolt (5) that hold pin (2) in place.5. Install grease fitting (3) in the pin. 6. Install pin (6) that connects the rod end of the tilt cylinder to the tilt lever.7. Install spacer, washer and bolt (8) that hold pin (6) in place.8. Install magnet assembly (7) in the pin, tighten the two setscrews (9). 9. Put bracket (12) and hose assembly in position on the cylinder, and install two bolts (10)
