Information:

the auto/manual switch is in the MANUAL position, the operation of the ECM is manual. The ECM shifts the transmission into the gear that is selected by the operator. When the downshift switch is pressed, the ECM downshifts the transmission. A downshift is only possible if gear 2 is selected with the shift lever. After a downshift, the ECM will shift the transmission back to gear 2 when there is a direction change. The ECM will also shift the transmission out of gear 1 and into gears 3 or 4, if gears 3 or 4 are selected with the shift lever.
