Problem
***** Group 1 ***** Some of the rivets which fasten the fan blades to the hub may be damaged or missing on certain 785 and 789 Trucks. ***** Group 2 ***** The lockwasher may fail to hold the nut on the fan drive allowing the bearings to come loose and rotate on certain 785 and 789 Trucks. The fan may eventually move forward and hit the radiator if the nut comes completely off.
