Prior to the Low Emission Engine, the Non-Emission Controlled Engine was installed in the M312 Excavator and in the M315 Excavator. Note: Tier-2 directives of the EPA and Stage II directives of the EU will be effective January 1, 2003 for engines that have the same power range as the engines that are installed in the M312 and the M315 Excavators.
