HARNESS AS. 1330958 - Caterpillar

1. Remove nut (1) and lockwasher (3) from wiper arm shaft. Remove wiper arm assembly (2) and driver from wiper arm shaft. 2. Remove cap (6) and the nut behind it. Remove spacer (7), the washer and gasket.3. Remove three nuts (4) and the three nuts behind them. Remove three retainers with seals (5). 4. Remove five screws and lockwashers (8), then remove panel and seal (9) from inside and above instrument panels.5. Remove eight bolts, lockwasher and washers (10), then remove cover (11) from steering column. 6. Remove four bolts and lockwashers from steering position bracket (12), then remove it. 7. Disconnect three wires (13) from the harness. Lift or lower steering column as needed to remove wiper motor and linkage (14). 8. To remove washer nozzle, remove the hose and nut from inside of cab. Remove nozzle (15) and spacer (16) from outside of the cab.Install Windshield Wiper Motor And Linkage
1. Install washer nozzle as follows: 2. Install the nut and then the hose from the washer pump to nozzle from inside of the cab. 3. Put wiper motor and linkage (3) into position as shown. Move the steering column if necessary. 4. Connect three wires from motor to harness at connectors (4). Make sure that wires are correctly connected. 5. Install seal (5) in retainer (6) and install retainer (6) on the stud. Install nut (7) and nut (8) on the stud. 6. Install gasket (9), washer (10) and spacer (11) on the wiper arm shaft. 7. Install nut (12) and cap (13) on the wiper arm shaft. 8. Install driver (14) on wiper arm shaft. Turn wiper motor switch to "ON" position and operate the motor so the correct position for the wiper arm assembly can be found.9. Stop wiper motor and install wiper arm assembly (15). Adjustments for the parking angle can be made with the bolt on the back of the motor assembly gear box.10. Install the lockwasher and the nut on the wiper arm shaft to hold wiper arm assembly in place. 11. Install steering positioner bracket and rack (16) with four bolts, lockwashers and washers. 12. Put cover (17) over steering positioner bracket, then install eight bolts, lockwashers and washers to hold it. 13. Install panel and seal (18) with five screws and lockwashers above the instrument panels.Disassemble Windshield Wiper Motor And Linkage
start by:a) remove windshield wiper motor and linkage 1. Remove spacer (3) from wiper arm shaft link assembly.2. Remove two clips and two washers (1) from the ends of link (2), then remove the link. 3. Remove three screws and lockwashers (5) and then remove motor assembly (4) from bracket (6). 4. Remove nut and lockwasher (7), then remove arm (8) and the spring washer behind it. 5. Remove two screws (11) and remove shaft and link assembly (9). Remove three spacers (10) and studs from bracket (6).Assemble Windshield Wiper Motor And Linkage
1. Install three studs and spacers (1) on bracket (2). Install shaft and link assembly (3)
