Loosen clamp assembly (7).
Disconnect soot sensors (6), temperature sensor (5), and pressure sensor (3).
Loosen clamp assembly (1) and slide the clamp assembly away from diesel oxidation catalyst (4).
Attach a suitable lifting device to diesel oxidation catalyst (4). Disconnect strap (2) and remove the catalyst. The weight of diesel oxidation catalyst (4) is approximately 21 kg (46 lb).
Discard clamp assembly (1). Installation Procedure
Install diesel oxidation catalyst (4) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten temperature sensor (5) and soot sensors (6) to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft).

Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of strap (2) to Dimension (X). Dimension (X) is 25 mm (1 inch) above the trunnion. Tighten strap (2) to a torque of 17 2 N m (146 13 lb in).
Install new clamp assembly (1). Tighten clamp assembly (1) to a torque of 42 3 N m (31 2 lb ft). Do not use power tools in order to tighten clamp assembly (1).
