Connecting to the Modem
The following are needed to monitor the system via a modem:
Analog phone line
Select "PC Settings/Connection Settings" from the UPSView menu bar.

Select "Modem Connect" from the "Connection Settings" menu.

Modem connection settings
Select "Serial/Modem port number" from the drop-down list.
Select the "Serial/Modem baud rate" from the drop-down list.
Input the modem dial out number. The modem dial out number is the number of the telephone line connected to the target system being monitored.
Select "System Summary Telemetry " or "Detailed MMU Telemetry" as required.
Select the "Connect" button.Your PC should now be connected to the UPS via the modem.
