The block diagram of the 955L electrical system shows the flow of electricity to the different parts of the system. It does not show all components, wires, and connections. The block diagram shows which of the components work together.The 15 amp fuses are on the left hand side of the instrument panel. The 4 amp fuses are next to the windshield wiper controls at the front of the right hand console. The circuit breakers are also on the instrument panel.The dashed (broken) lines in the block diagram are an indication of a control connection (a switch activates a solenoid or a test switch turns on a light). Use the table that follows for identification of wire and connector colors in the schematics. Two colors divided by a line are an indication of a wire with a stripe (one color with a line around it of another color). R/LT GR is a red wire with a light green stripe.The harnesses fasten together with plastic bullet connectors. The different connectors are shown below. Glow Plug Circuit
The 8S7713 Heat-Start Switch sends current to the glow plugs. The current for the glow plugs goes through the ammeter. If all four glow plugs work correctly, the ammeter must read approximately 25 amps (6.25 amps per glow plug).

The 8S7713 Heat-Start Switch sends current to the starter solenoid to activate the starter motor. It also sends current, at the same time, to the glow plugs.

The backup alarm has a 6P8576 Alarm fastened to the fuel tank. The alarm has a solid state (electrical, no moving parts) circuit that makes the sound go on and off when it has current. The alarm is activated by a 9P4608 Magnetic Reed Switch in the transmission shift lever column on the left hand side of the operator's station. There is a 15 amp fuse in the instrument panel marked "BACKUP ALARM" for the protection of the alarm circuit.

The 955L has a wiper and washer on the front windshield and on the back window. Each of the 9D202 Wiper Motors has a switch inside that automatically causes the return of the wipers to the "park" (stopped) position when the 1V7362 Switch is turned off. The motors have a high and low speed. Three power wires from each wiper/washer switch to its motor are necessary, one for each of the two speeds, and the other for the park position. The wire for the park position, which must have power when the wiper/washer switch is off, sends current to the park position of the motor so that the wipers go to the park position when the on-off switch is turned off.When the knob of a switch is pushed in, a 5P7775 Washer Motor is activated.Each of the wiper/washer circuits is
