HARNESS AS-MONITOR 1389725 - Caterpillar

Wear goggles, gloves, protective clothing, and a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) approved P95 or N95 half-face respirator when handling a used Diesel Particulate Filter or Catalytic Converter Muffler. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.

Remove bolts (1). Use two people to remove panel (2). Repeat for the opposite side.

Remove cable ties (3). Remove bolts (4). Disconnect harness assembly (5).

Loosen exhaust clamp (6).

Remove clips (8). Remove cable tie (9).

Remove cable strap (10). Disconnect harness assembly (11). Disconnect hoses (12) and hose assembly (13) and reposition.

Remove bolts (18) and reposition bracket (19). Remove clip (20).

Disconnect tube assembly (21) and reposition. Remove hose (12).

Attach a suitable lifting device to clean emissions module (22). The weight of clean emissions module (22) is approximately 132 kg (291 lb).

Remove bolts (23).

Install clean emissions module (22) in the reverse order of removal.
