Connect a 60000 kPa (8700 psi) pressure gauge to pressure tap (1) .
Loosen the locknut on load sensing signal limiter valve (4). Turn the adjustment screw on load sensing signal limiter valve (4) clockwise until the adjustment screw contacts the stop. Do not overtighten the adjustment screw.
Start the engine and place the engine speed dial in position 10.
Lower the left console.
Stall one of the following three circuits on the machine in order to obtain a pressure reading:
Blade Circuit
Dozer Circuit
Stabilizer CircuitNote: These circuits are used because there are no line relief valves in these circuits.
Check the main pump pressure at pressure tap (1) .Note: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Specifications" in this manual for the correct pressure setting.Adjust

To avoid damage to the hydraulic components, do not turn the main relief valve adjustment screw into the stop.
Loosen locknut (5) .
Turn adjustment screw (6) clockwise in order to increase the pressure. Turn adjustment screw (6) counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure.Note: A 1/4 turn of the adjustment screw will equal approximately 3447 kPa (500 psi).
Read the pressure on the pressure gauge at tap (1). Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Specifications" in this manual for the correct pressure setting for the main relief valve.Always make the final pressure adjustment on the pressure rise.
Tighten locknut (5) to the specified torque.
Adjust the load sensing signal limiter valve to the correct pressure setting. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Signal Limiter) - Test and Adjust" in this manual for the adjustment procedure.
