Use Tooling (C) to remove block (7).

Remove O-ring seals (8). Remove dowel (9). Remove bearing (10). Remove plug (11).

Remove seal ring (12). Remove toric ring (13).

Attach a suitable lifting device to idler (16). The weight of idler (16) is approximately 145 kg (320 lb).
Raise idler (16) to remove shaft (15).

Remove the bushing and bearing assembly (17). Remove seal ring (18). Remove toric ring (19).Removal Procedure (Heavy Duty)

Separate the track.

Remove bolts (1) and guard assembly (2). Repeat for opposite side.

Attach Tooling (A) and suitable lifting device to idler (5). The combined weight of idler (5) and the rod assembly is approximately 163 kg (360 lb). Reposition idler (5). Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the rod assembly. Remove plates (4).
Remove idler (5) and the rod assembly as a unit.

Position idler (5) and rod assembly onto Tooling (C) and suitable cribbing.

Remove bolts (6) and cover (7).

Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and a suitable lifting device to rod assembly (8). The weight of rod assembly (8) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Remove bolts (9) and rod assembly (8).

Use suitable lifting device to remove idler (5) from suitable cribbing. The weight of idler (5) is approximately 122 kg (270 lb).
