The Special Instruction, GEHS0432 is for the installation of the 291-7758 Medium Pressure Wiring "Revision level - 03". If you need more information about the installation of the Medium Pressure Wiring on your machine, consult your Cat dealer.Do not perform any procedure that is outlined in this publication without reading this article first. Prevent the machine from movement. Park the machine on a level surface.Attach a "Do Not Operate" warning tag or a similar warning tag to the start switch before you service the equipment. These warning tags (Special Instruction, SEHS7332) are available from your Caterpillar dealer.Required Parts

Radiator room and engine room (3) 7K-1181 Cable Strap (4) 291-7856 Valve Harness As
Connect harness (4) to chassis harness in the radiator compartment as shown.
Route harness (4) into the engine compartment.
Route harness (4) across the front of the engine compartment and into the pump compartment.

Connect harness (4) to the STEM3 Extend and Retract solenoids of 259-7430 Solenoid Valve Gp as shown.
Install clip (5), spacer (2), bolt (7) and washer (6) as shown.
Secure harness (4) to clip (5) using strap (3). Secure the rest of the harness with straps (1), (3), and (8) (if applicable).
Unless otherwise specified, tighten all hardware and fittings to standard torque.ReferenceTorque Specifications, SENR3130, "Torque Specifications"
